Two New Guitar Hero Titles Due For Spring, Tony Hawk Needs A Refresh

In a conference call today with analysts, Activision confirmed that it plans to release two new Guitar Hero titles during fiscal 2009, which runs through April 1 to June 31. Aside from the very vague release window, no further details were provided.
Moving on, Activision executives admitted that the sales of the Tony Hawk franchise were not up to snuff in 2007. Who’da thunk it? Activision believes the series is in need of a refresh, and as such the next entry in the series will focus on innovation.
