PSP Slim and Lite Pushed Back In UK?
Posted by x3sphere at September 4, 2007, 8:03 pm

During GC 07 Sony announced that the PSP Slim and Lite would see a release in European territories before the rest of the world on September 5. As far as I can recall, PlayStation hardware has never launched in Europe first. So this would be the first time.
Or not. Turns out the plan to launch on September 5 may have been shot down, at least in the UK. Various retailers, including GAME and Amazon.co.uk are now listing a September 14 release date for the revised portable. That’s four days after the US launch.
Unfortunate news for those in the UK if this is indeed true. We’ll know for sure tomorrow.

Just checked our New Zealand site and its got the same September 14th release date, I'd presume Australia would be the same. Although apparently Success HK is already shipping worldwide? Hope by the time it comes around to the 14th I'll know if it's worth buying..
EDIT: I just thought about this, and if true that means we (region 4) would also be getting it about a day before Europe due to time-zones :)
