Star Wars fans rejoice, an all-new entry in the popular Battlefront series is coming, this time exclusively to Sony’s handheld. Developed by UK based Rebellion, Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron will chronicle the untold story of a ragtag ensemble of battle-hardened rogues and scoundrels assembled by Han Solo.
Renegade Squadron will replace the old class system found in previous Battlefront titles with all-new customization options, allowing players to choose from an array of unique weapons, equipment and abilities. In addition to the 11-chapter single player campaign, Renegade Squadron will also feature an infrastructure (online!) multiplayer mode supporting up to 16 players, while the ad-hoc network mode will support up to 8 combatants.
