PSP Dominates Famitsu Sales Charts

According to Famitsu sales figures for the week ending March 30, the PSP took the top spot on the charts with an an impressive 139,000 units sold. In comparison, Nintendo’s Wii and DS Lite handheld sold 49,000 and 57,000 units, respectively.

Of course, the huge increase in sales can most likely be attributed to Capcom’s million-shipper Monster Hunter 2nd G, which just so happened to be released the same week in Japan.

* PlayStation Portable 139,000
* Nintendo DS Lite 57,000
* Wii 49,000
* PlayStation 3 13,000
* PS2 9,800
* Xbox 360 2,800

This is real stats right? LOL Xbox 360 seriously fails. Even the ps2(which is 8 years old) dominate over the Xbox 360(i wonder what the sale amount for Xbox is=P)

x3sphere says:

Yeah, the 360 is doing terrible in Japan. Actually, at the rate it is selling now, it'll take Microsoft nearly a year to reach this week's PSP numbers :P Though there are a couple big name 360 RPGs like Tales of Vesperia and The Last Remnant on the horizon which should pick sales up.
