Developer Dark_AleX has issued an update to yesterday’s release of PSP custom firmware 4.01 M33, fixing a couple minor bugs regarding the built-in NID resolver and recovery mode. The complete changelog for 4.01 M33-2 can be found below.
* NID resolver: Fixed scePowerGetCpuClockFrequency issue. This is the same bug that happened in 3.80 M33-1, it won’t happen again ??
* Fixes recovery problems that have appeared in prior version (incorrect position of back string in language others than English, enable, and disabled strings not translated in plugins, hide pic0+pic1 couldn’t be changed, language file in flash1 wasn’t working..
* Spanish recovery translation typos fixed.
Additionally, as promised, the 1.5 kernel add-on for regular (fat) PSP units running 4.01 M33 series firmware has been released. Installing this is optional, but it will give you full compatibility with older homebrew titles that were written specifically for firmware 1.5. Installation instructions can be found at this link, courtesy of forum moderator Acerthief.

lol, I was about to PM one of the mods about this (since x3 is offline)
don't forget about the 1.50 kernel addon
PS: Say to Alek that the link to 1.50 kernel addon is incorrect, it's linking to the Time machine thread o.0
