PSP Custom Firmware 3.80 M33 Almost Complete

Posted by x3sphere at January 3, 2008, 9:50 pm

Wondering about the status of PSP custom firmware 3.80 M33? Developer Mathieulh has provided a status update, revealing that the firmware is nearly complete and currently boots all user mode homebrew applications.

So what remains to be done? Dark_AleX is currently working on the NID Resolver. In theory, the NID Resolver should allow kernel mode homebrew and plugins designed for previous firmware versions to run on 3.80 M33 without modification.

Please Hurry! I can't seem to get any older firmware to work!! I cant find a custom firmware above 3.72... Can't wait for 3.80 M33!!!

Hanzo_f19 says:

you need to have a CFW already installed.

ZCypher says:

Well how do you get a CFW on it if you have to already have a CFW on it to install it??

chemist says:

I dont think wanted to fill in all the details. You just update from fw 1.50 or use pandoras battery i think.

cooldrag77 says:

hey if i have firmware 3.80,
can i still install custom firmware 3.80 on my psp?

please anyone know?

roe-ur-boat says:

No, you can't unless you have a pandoras battery

kemoy10 says:

when is the release date?

Acerthief says:

Nobody knows mate. And it's better to keep it private isn't it?

hhhhh says:

am i supposed to download custom firmware before or after pandora modding

EDIT:
Can anyone please tell me

x3sphere says:

Can you be a bit more clear on that? Do you mean converting a battery to Pandora? You'll need to already be running custom firmware to do that.

ZCypher says:

Okay, how can I EASILY downgrade 3.72 to 1.50? Can't you actually use the Magic Memory Card software to downgrade, with or without a Pandora battery?

ZCypher says:

Basically, How do you downgrade 3.72 without a Pandora battery?

x3sphere says:

You can't downgrade 3.72 without a Pandora battery. You can buy a pre-converted battery from various online shops. Look for the Datel TOOL Battery.
