The weekly PlayStation Store update kicks off with the release of a free downloadable demo for Sony’s upcoming PSP rhythm-based platformer Patapon. Joining Patapon is a playable demo of MLB 08: The Show for both the PlayStation 3 and PSP.

Rounding out this week’s relatively low-key update are three new Rock Band tracks, all of which are available in a bundle package for $5.50, along with downloadable PSP title Twisted Metal: Head On. Oh, and don’t forget the usual assortment of game videos, trailers, and wallpapers.
