DickyDick1969 of PiMPStreamer and PeeJay MIDP fame has released a new homebrew game called Phorv for the PSP. The game is a direct port of Arno Brehler’s Phorv, a unique puzzler for Windows released in 2005.

It is a rather interesting game. Phorv stands for “Puzzle with HORizontal and Vertical Lines.” Players must clear the field by selecting two equal-colored tiles at a time. Once a field is cleared you advance to the next level. When all levels in a category are completed, you are rewarded with a new category, along with a series of increasingly challenging levels.
