OpenTTD v0.5.3
by January 17, 2008 @ 11:10 am

Homebrew developer Jaime Peñalba has released an update to OpenTTD for PSP, an open-source clone of Chris Sawyer’s PC title Transport Tycoon Deluxe.
The latest release features full support for the PSP Slim and 3.XX kernel based firmware. The author also notes that support for 1.50 has been completely dropped, with the reason being that new hardware no longer supports it. For the complete changelog, look below:
* Code updated to be Slim and 3.XX firmwares compatible
* Code updated to 0.5.3 to be able to play on latest online servers
* Game crash while playing background music fixed
* Bug from last resize of replace trains window fixed
* Windows can now be dragged out of screen limits, to be able to see windows which exceded the screen height, such as the patches configuration dialog, just hold square pressed over a window to move it
* Place Tree window now is displayed inside screen limits
* PSP dedicated server upgraded to 0.5.3
Finally, be aware that even though this is an open source port, OpenTTD still requires certain data files from the retail Transport Tycoon Deluxe game. Provided that you own the game, instructions on how to install said files can be found in the included readme file.
