New echoshift Screens Show Off “Self Co-Op” Gameplay

Sony shot over a new batch of echoshift screens today, highlighting the title’s core gameplay mechanic, officially dubbed “self co-op.”
Akin to its spiritual predecessor echochrome, players progress in the game by solving puzzles within a predefined time limit. The catch, however, is that none of the puzzles are possible to complete on a first attempt. After failing to complete each level, a ghost from your previous attempt appears, which you must interact with to solve the puzzle. This is where the “self co-op” mechanic comes into play.
Featuring 30 puzzle types sprawled across 45 different levels, echoshift is slated for a late Fall/early Winter debut on PSN. See the latest batch of screens from Comic-Con after the break.

That self co-op idea's pretty cool, should be fun.
