Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G Goes Beyond Platinum

Just last week, Capcom proudly announced that the third entry in its portable Monster Hunter series shipped a tad over 1 million copies in Japan. Fast-forward to a week later, and Capcom is still selling ridiculous quantities of the title. Total sales figures have now reached an impressive 1.5 million.
Mark my words, it won’t be too long before Capcom sends out another press release proclaiming that the game hit 2 million copies sold.
