Kojima Not Finished With MGS Yet

During E3 2007, Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima said that Metal Gear Solid 4 for the PlayStation 3 would be the final game in the series that he would personally work on.

Konami Digital Entertainment marketing VP Anthony Crouts thinks otherwise. Speaking in a recent interview, Crouts said that Kojima will never let go of Metal Gear Solid, as it is a franchise he holds very close to his heart.

Such a move by Kojima wouldn’t exactly be unprecedented. Back in 2004 Kojima said that Metal Gear Solid 3 would be his last Metal Gear game, and now look, he’s back as the lead director for Metal Gear Solid 4.

I don't think he'll ever be done with MGS, look at the things he can now do with MGS in regards to next-gen. I think we'll see MGS for a long time to come, and he'll be right at the forefront of it all.
