iR Shell 3.62 Update

Posted by x3sphere at September 8, 2007, 11:26 am

AhMan has rolled out another maintenance update to the multi-tasking shell replacement for PSP known as iR Shell. This release fixes a few minor bugs which caused incompatibility issues with 3.52 M33.

New Features:

* Now fully compatible with Team M33 3.52-3 & 3.52-4 CFWs.
* Enhance the alarm clock function to support PSP suspend mode which means the alarm will still be triggered while your PSP is under suspend mode (sleep mode). The alarm volume will always be at max and is independent of your PSP volume settings. You will still hear the alarm even if you’ve muted your PSP volume. Thanks to Adrahil for providing the alarmlib source code to illustrate how the magic is done.

Additionally, the developer notes that he is currently working on 2-player PS1 game support via 2 PSPs using WiFi adhoc.

Please note that is update is cumulative which means it does include the 3.61 update. You will however, need to install iR Shell 3.60 first before applying this update.

Nice job with the alarm. No more sleeping in because your battery went dead :( xD The 2 player PSX games will be so cool if they get it working
