Hudson announced today that it is bringing its classic TurboGrafx 16 action RPG Dungeon Explorer to the PSP and DS with the release of Dungeon Explorer Warriors of Ancient Arts.

While the two versions do not share the same storyline, both feature massive 3D dungeons, new weapons and allow up three players to team up in a cooperative play mode via Ad-hoc (PSP) or Nintendo WiFi connection (DS). In the PSP version, players face off against demonic forces while attempting to uncover the fate of a legendary kingdom. The DS release takes place centuries after the events in the PSP installment, in a sinister land filled with undead creatures.

Both versions are scheduled to hit store shelves early next year in February. Hit the jump for the first screenshots.

To be honest, these both look awesome. I dig these types of games anyways... And the DS needs another good dungeon crawler, since the last one we got was Etrian Odyssey (which is EXTREMELY BADASS, btw).
