CXMB v2.31

Posted by x3sphere at September 3, 2007, 9:12 am

Poisonhzkj has rolled out a minor update to CXMB, a custom firmware plugin which allows users to load custom XMB themes from the memory stick. The update fixes a bug which prevented paf.prx, common_gui.prx, and vshmain.prx from being loaded from the memory stick.

If you are upgrading from a previous version of CXMB, replace the “cxmb.prx” file with the one contained in this archive. Otherwise, refer to the install instructions which can be found here.

Update: Sorry if you were running into issues with this version of CXMB.  The archive has been updated with a compatible theme.

are you sure about thw install instruction you give here, just dump it into the root of the ms? because that doesnt work....

x3sphere says:

Yes, but it's a plugin, so you'll have to add it to your plugin list. Information on how to do that can be found here:

EDIT: There seems to be a problem with the included theme. It was working for me but that's because I had the files flashed. Turns out the PRX files were compressed and they needed to be decompressed in order to function properly. Archive updated now with compatible files!
