AutoStart PRX v2

Posted by x3sphere at June 5, 2008, 1:00 pm

Homebrew developer roe-ur-boat has released an update to AutoStart PRX, a 3.90 M33 compatible custom firmware plugin that allows users to specify a number of separate homebrew applications to load at launch. Each application can be bind to certain key. When that key is held during bootup, the PSP will automatically load your homebrew.

Now at version 2, users can use the Home, Note, and Start button to load homebrew.

I've looked at the plugin and its GREAT!!!! Quick question.. I looked at the config file that it creates in ms0:/seplugins It looks like it is suppose to support a default autoboot without the need to press any buttons? I tried to set the path of "AUTO" and turn "AUTOBOOT" to "YES" but it won't autolaunch.. is this just a future function? or is there something I can do?

Thanks

That's a future function. I'm working on finding out how to determine whether the PSP is waking from a coldboot so that the homebrew doesn't endlessly loop when you exit from a game.
