It’s official. Well, somewhat. Ubisoft’s Reflections studio is working on a new entry in the car chase filled Driver series.

Though the title has yet to be announced, the game was revealed as part of a BBC behind-the-scenes game development video feature. If you’re interested, there’s a few seconds of off-camera gameplay footage shown in the un-embeddable clip after the jump.

The first Driver was decent, but the second and third installments received negative reviews from critics across the board. In fact Driver 2 frustrated me enough that I never bothered to try out Parallel Lines. Clearly the series has potential though. We’ll put this one on the “wait and see” list.
