Just a couple weeks ago we brought word that Eidos had filed a trademark for “Tomb Raider Underworld,” which led to speculation that a new Tomb Raider game was in development.

According to the latest issue of PLAY magazine, there is a new Tomb Raider game in development and it’s scheduled to hit the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC in 2008. While the official title of the game has yet to be revealed, Lara’s next adventure takes place after the events in Tomb Raider: Legend, and is said to feature enhanced visual effects, such as footprints in the mud that wash away, as well as a dynamic weather system.
