As part of a joint publishing partnership between No More Heroes developer Grasshopper Manufacture and Digital Reality, the duo have announced Sine Mora, an “innovative” horizontal shooter that blends traditional side-scrolling gameplay with time manipulation mechanics. It’s due out on PSN and Xbox Live Arcade.

While that premise certainly sounds intriguing, the announcement comes nary a screenshot, so you’ll have to let your imagination run wild with this one for now. With Grasshopper CEO Suda 51 helming the project, expect an experience that is out of the ordinary.

We’re also told the title will take advantage of the latest “in 3D display technology.” Further details are expected within the coming months, with a release date target of Q3 2011.
