Sony Computer Entertainment America confirmed today that the PlayStation 3 installment in its competitive karaoke series SingStar will hit North American store shelves on May 20.

Attendees to the Coachella Valley music festival, which kicks off today in California, will be able to test out their vocal skills in the game before its retail release. Additionally, SCEA has teamed up with T-Mobile to host an exclusive SingStar event on Saturday at the Coachella campground’s Internet Cafe, entitled “TMO Tone Def Party and SingStar Lounge.”
