Rumor: Oh-So-Cleverly Named F.3.A.R. Is In Development, Reveal Soon

Brace yourself: the next installment in Monolith Productions’ sci-fi shooter franchise will be named F.3.A.R., if a cover page teaser stemming from a Spanish magazine is any indication. While deets are nonexistent, the moody artwork depicted on the cover does give a horror vibe reminiscent of F.E.A.R. 2.
Next month’s issue of the mag is promising info on it, which means a official announcement may not be far off.
Unoriginal title aside, the first installment was fantastic. The second didn’t quite live up to expectations but was still a solid shooter. Historically, mediocrity has plagued titles that have taken the replacing letters with numbers approach. We’re looking at you Driv3r. If F.3.A.R. avoids succumbing to the same fate, we’ll be pleased.
