Two action RPG gems, namely Odin Sphere and Muramasa: The Demon Blade, may hit PSN and XBLA under a fresh coat of paint in the near future. Citing “multiple” unspecific sources in Japan, 1UP reports that both titles are due for an HD makeover.

Published by Atlus in 2007, Odin Sphere was a late bloomer in the PS2’s lifecycle, winning over critics with its charming art style and addictive combat system. Muramasa debuted on Wii last year, and apparently, its assets were “developed in HD first,” which should make porting a cinch.

If there’s any truth to this, RPG fanatics are in for a treat. We’ll keep you posted, fingers crossed.
