Rumor: Grand Theft Auto IV PS3 Bundle Hitting Europe

According to a listing over at big-name Swedish retailer Webhallen, a 40GB equipped Grand Theft Auto IV PlayStation 3 bundle is scheduled to hit Europe on April 29, alongside the launch of the standalone game.

The GTA IV themed bundle is priced at 4499kr, which roughly equates to €399.99 in Euro. While SCEE has yet to officially announce or confirm the bundle, it’s no secret that retailers are usually given advance information on products such as this.

hmm...i can imagine ps3 sales jumping up a hell of a lot with a bundle like this....yes,theres the option of buying the 360 version but knowing how video game retailers work in the UK,i'd see them trying to promote a bundle with a console way more.

Yeah. I hope they release this bundle in the states, too. It's a no-brainer for Sony really. I'm sure many people would jump on it, especially if they are on the fence of buying a PS3 or 360.

problem i have though is the parents.they'd probally be nearly clearing off their credit cards from christmas around now and maybe have wee johnny's birthday coming up and over here in the UK, most parents don't care about age ratings or the such. the only time the ratings are enforced are if the kid tried to buy something like resident evil and the manager is on the shop floor. even then,if the parent then comes over,they still sell it.

not a problem for anyone over 18 but the fact is that the parents don't care about what games their kids play.
