Just in time for Halloween, Rockstar today announced that Red Dead Redemption’s ‘Undead Nightmare’ DLC pack will hit PSN and Xbox Live on October 26. It’ll set you back 800 MS Points ($9.99).

Introducing hours of all-new single player content and a wealth of new multiplayer content to Rockstar’s Wild West epic, Undead Nightmare stars protagonist John Marston in a struggle against terrifying undead forces. Marston sets out on the frontier once again to find a cure in hopes of warding off a plague-ridden threat.

New weaponry awaits, including the Blunderbuss, which can be loaded with looted remains of fallen zombies. Competitive multiplayer and multiplayer free roam content includes Undead Overrun, a survival mode that pits swarms of infected against increasingly difficult odds. Players must rely on teamwork in order to survive.

Additionally, Rockstar has confirmed that Undead Nightmare will be sold as a standalone offering at retail. Priced at $29.99, it bundles the Undead Nightmare Pack, the Outlaws to the End Co-Op Mission Pack, the Legends and Killers Pack, the Liars and Cheats Pack and all the Multiplayer Free Roam modes released to date — all on a single disc. Unlike the single-piece DLC, a copy of Red Dead Redemption is not required to play.
