If you were one of the millions of unlucky PS3 owners hit by the widespread 8001050F error, it’s safe to say that the worst is over. We’ve received several reports indicating that PS3 units affected by this clock glitch are now back in working order, complete with restored access to PSN if it was previously inaccessible.

The fix is seamless. Upon turning turning on our unit everything worked just as it did before the online connectivity crippling glitch emerged last night. Access to titles rendered inoperable by the glitch have been restored and all trophies are intact to boot. No word yet on if Sony did anything on its end, but if so, thumbs up for rectifying the issue.
