Bethesda Softworks announced today that the latest version of its blockbuster role-playing game, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, has shipped to retail stores throughout North America for the PS3.

Previously seen on the Xbox 360 and PC, the PS3 version of Oblivion will feature shorter loading times, more fluid frame rates, higher resolution textures, and an increased draw distance.
