SCEE president Andrew House announced at the company’s Gamescom 2009 press conference that PS3 firmware 3.0 is slated to roll out later this year. The update, planned for release in September, will boast animated themes, a What’s New section, and various changes on the interface side of things. Exciting.
A substantial Home update is also due out next month. It’s said to feature more dance moves to get your groove on, in addition to new items such as shrinking potions.
