Those who pre-order Prince of Persia at participating retailers in North America will receive a free upgrade to the Limited Edition version of the game, publisher Ubisoft announced today. Enclosed in special packaging, the LE pack includes a “making of” video complete with developer commentary, a digital mini-strategy guide, a digital art book, the original soundtrack composed by Inon Zur, and “much more.”

In related news, Ubisoft revealed that it has formed a partnership with Penny Arcade to create a 32-page comic book based on the new Prince of Persia title, which is scheduled to hit retailers Holiday 2008 for the Xbox 360, PC and PlayStation 3.
