Polyphony May Implement Vehicular Damage In GT 5 Prologue

Could realistic vehicular damage finally be coming to the Gran Turismo series? Speaking in a recent interview, GT creator Kazunori Yamauchi said that Polyphony Digital might be able to implement the much-requested feature in Gran Turismo 5 Prologue by fall with a software update.

That’s great, really great. Little hard to get excited though. You see, the folks at Polyphony have been considering to bring car deformation to the series since, like, forever. And alas, the feature still has yet to surface in any GT title.

Let’s just say that we won’t hold our breath on this one.
