Is Sony’s oft-delayed virtual community PlayStation Home slated to finally go public next week? Without any mention of sources, mainstream news outlet Times Online UK reckons so. To quote:

To try Home, which is slated for release in the next 10 days, players must download a piece of free software from Sony’s PlayStation store onto their own PS3.

The article was published yesterday, which means we can expect a release on December 17. That’s assuming this information is legit, though. Next week isn’t too far away, so we’ll just cross our fingers and hope.
