
It’s that time again: The NPD Group today forwarded its retail sales figures in North America for the month ending October, revealing a prediction-shattering victory for Nintendo. The Wii shifted 803,000 units during the month of October, with totals for the DS coming in at 491K.
During the same time period, Microsoft pushed 371K Xbox 360 units, up more than 20K from September. In distant contrast, Sony sold 190K PS3 units. Numbers for the PS2 and PSP came in at 136K and 193K respectively.
