Novastrike Hits Tomorrow, First Self-Published PSN Title

After two drought-stricken weeks, the upcoming PlayStation Store update this Thursday may actually be worth talking about, as Tiki Games development director Kevin McCann has announced that PS3 title Novastrike will hit the PSN tomorrow.
Described as a top-down arcade style shooter, Novastrike will be the first “self-published” title on PSN. Players combat a fighter ship known as Scythe, shooting down a variety of airborne enemies such as aces, kamikazes, bombers. As with most arcade shoot ’em ups, there are number of selectable weapons – 9 in total – each with three upgrade tiers.
Novastrike will be priced at $9.99 when it hits tomorrow alongside Thursday’s PSN update.
