No HDD Install for Uncharted 2, Streams Entirely From Disc

Word of PS3 titles imposing a mandatory installation process was newsworthy way back when, but now, these installs are so commonplace that almost everyone has come to expect them. Now, when a PS3 title doesn’t require an install, that’s news. Especially when said title is a major one.
And if, like most of us, you loathe installs, then here’s a tidbit of info that will perk up your day. Naughty Dog staffer Christophe Balestra confirmed today via tweet that Uncharted 2 streams entirely from Blu-ray disc – meaning no install is required. To quote:
Uncharted 2 does not require any install.
Glad that’s sorted. Uncharted 2 drops October 13.
