Speaking in a recent interview, Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios VP Michael Denny once again confirmed that the follow-up to Evolution Studios’ PS3 racer MotorStorm is in development and revealed that the title is due out next year on Blu-ray disc.

We’re looking to follow up with a new Blu-ray disc release next year for MotorStorm. Clearly going forward the creation of new IP is something that all our worldwide studios will always be looking at and pushing the boundaries of. And so will Evolution and Bigbig.
