Three Speech, Sony’s semi-official blog, has received word that Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots will come packaged with an online starter pack, which promises to give gamers a small taste of the Metal Gear Online experience.

While details are non-existent, this does mean that the fourth installment in the Metal Gear Solid series will offer certain online features straight of the box without the need to purchase Metal Gear Online.
