LucasArts announced today it has renewed its publishing contract with Activision Blizzard for titles released in Europe, Australia and South-East Asia. The renewal follows a bevy of successful debuts over the past year, the most notable being Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, which sold over 5.7 million worldwide thus far.

We made the decision based upon Activision’s proven track record in managing strong brands and our long standing relationship which has produced tremendous results as games such as Lego Indiana Jones and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed have risen to the top of sales charts globally.

The next major title in line to be published under the agreement is Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings, which is currently slated to ship in June of this year.
