It is with great disappointment that I inform you that one of the fall’s biggest titles for PlayStation 3, LittleBigPlanet 2, has been delayed until January of next year. The delay comes just a short time into the closed beta of the game and just a few months before its release. According to the official blog the game was delayed in order to give us, the players, the best possible experience in their sequel to one of the title that started the Play, Create, Share “genre” of games.

However, on the upside, they hinted at another chance for us to get our hands on the game this fall; probably in the form of a public beta as opposed to the closed beta that is currently being conducted. LittleBigPlanet 2 joins Crysis 2, Test Drive Unlimited 2, Portal 2 and F.3.A.R as previous fall titles that have been delayed until next year.
