Following the release of Twisted Metal: Head-On: Extra Twisted Edition last year, things have been quiet surrounding outspoken game designer David Jaffe and his Utah-based business venture Eat Sleep Play. But according to a recent blog post from the main man himself, he paid a visit to Sony HQ yesterday to discuss a “new game.” Naturally, no details on this game were provided, but Jaffe mentioned that he feels a 2010 release date is being strongly considered.

As for promoting the new game, when is that, you ask? Well at least I hope you ask!

Who knows. Going to visit Sony today but we prob. won’t pick a launch day. My gut/guess tells me we’re looking sometime in 2010. Certainly not later than that. Perhaps sooner.

Could the game he is referring to be a new Twisted Metal for PS3? Seems like a possibility, but considering we’ve been left in the dark ever since that little teaser, it’s hard to say.
