Hirai: No Immediate PS3 Price Cut Planned

Speaking in a recent interview, Sony Computer Entertainment’s chief executive Kaz Hirai admitted that pricing is an important factor to the success of the PlayStation 3, so much so that he thinks about it every day, but as of right now the company is not planning any “immediate pricing action.”

I think about PS3 pricing every single day. It is that important a factor … But I am not planning any immediate pricing action now.
