Haze Demo Confirmed For Early May

Ubisoft today announced that a demo of Free Radical’s Nectar-fueled first-person shooter Haze will be released exclusively on the PlayStation Network next month. No firm date was provided, aside from the vague release window of “early May.”

The demo promises to give players a sweet taste of what to expect in Haze, featuring bits of the single-player campaign plus an online mode with support for 4 player drop-in drop-out co-op.

The game is slated to hit North American store shelves on May 20, with a European release following on May 23.

Coming exclusively to the PLAYSTATION® Network in early May, this playable demo will give gamers a taste of not only the single-player campaign in Haze, but will also allow up to four-player, drop-in drop-out co-op play online. Developed by shooter experts Free Radical, creators of the critically acclaimed TimeSplitters® series, Haze is scheduled for release exclusively on the PLAYSTATION®3 entertainment system on 22nd May 2008.
