Harmonix’s Rock Band Priced, Dated

MTV’s Stephen Totilo has revealed that Harmonix’s Rock Band is officially dated and is set to launch on the Xbox 360 and PS3 on November 23.

Carrying the lower than expected price of $170, the package will include the game, one guitar, a mic and a drum kit. Additionally, the PlayStation 2 version of the game is scheduled to hit stores December 10, originally thought to be released next year, and will carry an MSRP of $160.

Cool, although I still don't know if this is going to be any good or not.:glare: I just don't understand how they can hope to overcome Guitar Hero, but that's just me I suppose.

Yea, it may be better than Guitar Hero III but $170 is still quite high, most people just won't spend that much money on a game no matter how good it is.

Kinda reminds me of Steel Battalion for Xbox... the game was great, and came with this huge controller. But it was priced at $200, and its sales suffered because of that.

As Cheeze said I hope it is a good game and that it's as good and fun as Guitar Hero.

well , from what i've seen the sining at e3 , sounds horrible , sounds like two retarded monkeys beating eachother while screming , it's horrible , if this game was 100$ or the other hand maybe , but 200$ to make a shitty band on xbox live . not my cup of tea :)
