According to scans from the Spanish PlayStation Magazine, Grand Theft Auto IV will feature 15 multiplayer game modes and support for up to 16 players.

Translated names for the multiplayer game modes include (you might remember some of them being rumored earlier) Hangman’s Noose, Car Jack City, Bomb da Base, Bomb da Base II, Mafia Work, Team Mafia Work, Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Turf War, Cops N Crooks, Race, GTA Race, Deal Breaker, and Free Roam.

The mag reports that the game modes will be accessed in-game through Niko’s cellphone. Players will be able to fully customize their online character’s race, sex, skin color, hair, and clothing. While we don’t have specific details on any of game modes, official word can’t be too far away now.
