God of War Creator: Who needs Blu-ray?

In a recent interview, God of War creator David Jaffe shockingly revealed that he believes Blu-ray should have been removed from the PS3 so that the console could be sold at a lower price point.
Today, Sony gave an official response to the comment, saying that Jaffe has earned the right to speak his mind on anything he wants when it comes to videogames. While Sony respects Jaffe’s opinion, the company strongly believes that the future of gaming lies in the ability to deliver more to the consumer.
