The PlayStation 3 version of Koei’s futuristic racing title Fatal Inertia has been in limbo for months. Originally announced as a PS3 exclusive launch title, it was later delayed, then deemed canceled until Koei re-confirmed the game as a multi-platform title. Now that the Xbox 360 release is out and about, what’s the status on the PS3 version?

Koei isn’t giving an exact date, but did narrow down the release to Spring 2008. The company also said it is adding a layer of polish to the PS3 version by resolving various technical issues that plagued the 360 release, such as an occasionally sluggish frame rate.
