Update: Fallout 3 Trophy Support On The Way, PC Patch Due This Week

Update: A Bethesda spokesperson has provided an update on the situation, revealing that a patch for Fallout 3 will not hit today, but instead is scheduled to roll out “later this week.” The main focus of the patch is to address the crashing issues on exit. The company noted that it is working on a “more extensive update” and is actively looking into issues folks have been experiencing with the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 version.

Responding to fans in an open interview on Eurogamer, Bethesda spokesperson Pete Hines confirmed that trophy support for the PlayStation 3 edition of Fallout 3 is indeed on the way.

It’s going to happen, just not sure when. We’ll let folks know when we have something more definitive.

Hines also mentioned that a PC patch is due out later today. No word on what it will fix, but we’ll know soon. Here’s hoping that it brings an end to the random crashes that I and others have been experiencing.
