Elite PS3 Confirmed?

You can never keep a good rumor down, especially when it comes to Sony. The 80GB PS3 was first revealed when an FCC filing by Sony popped up, which clearly listed a new model: CECHE01 – 80GB Hard Disk. We thought this confirmed an 80GB PS3 was coming – but of course, Sony flat out denied it. Then last month, we learned that Sony was considering to bring out an upgraded PS3 model – but did not go into specifics.
Now it appears the rumor has resurfaced. On the production specifications page at Sony’s official Korean PlayStation site, a PS3 model equipped with a 2.5" Serial ATA – 80GB Hard Disk is listed. Looks like the 80GB model is confirmed! Well, at least for Korea.
Interesting to note is the absence of a 60GB model at the Korean site. The PS3 launches on June 16 over there, so I wonder if this will be the only model available.

from what i read over at the ps3 forums and on some other sites it seems that its a reduction cost which is why it will include the 80 gig drive. It doesnt seem like there will be any other features. I hope there isnt cause i would be pissed. I just want all these new games to come out. It also doesnt seem like it will be in the us either, from what i read it is only to korea right now and they dont have plans for it here, unless it significantly reduces costs then i could see them doing it. If they upgrade some good features i will be pissed though.
