In addition to announcing Metal Gear Online during the series 20th anniversary event in Japan, Konami also showed this playable demonstration of the PlayStation 3 showcase title Metal Gear Solid 4.

The graphics are drop-dead gorgeous, and it’s all running at a fluid frame rate to boot. New gameplay features are also prevalent – now you can actually flip through those nudie magazines.

Update: Konami sent over twenty-five high res screenshots from the trailer. Catch them after the jump – should make for some nice desktop wallpapers.
