Two years after its initial Xbox Live Arcade debut, independent developer Behemoth is gearing up to release the long-awaited PSN version of Castle Crashers on August 31. Laden with snarky humor, the co-op centric title is backed by a refreshing palette of cartoon-style visuals.

Despite its late arrival, the PSN version of Castle Crashers rings in at the same price as its XBLA brethren at $15. Not that we’re complaining — quality rarely comes cheap.
