Call of Duty 4 360 Feature Patch Coming Soon, Possibly This Weekend

Call of Duty 4 Community Manager Robert “FourZeroTwo” Bowling today revealed on his personal blog that the long-awaited Xbox 360 feature patch for CoD 4 has officially passed Microsoft’s certification phase. If we’re lucky, Bowling says we could see the patch turn up on Live by this weekend at the earliest.
I got word that the Xbox 360 Feature patch could be ‘very very close’, I can’t tell you exactly when because they haven’t passed on that information but apparently certification went fantastic and I was given the Green light to take care of some things that I have to do before it goes live to you guys, which means good things. I’m not going to get any hopes up, but I hope to be seeing some new Kill Cams by the weekend if we’re lucky. Don’t hold me to that though, but I have a good feeling about it.
Expect the PlayStation 3 feature patch to hit after the 360 patch rolls out, as it was sent over to Sony earlier this week for certification. Bowling promises he’ll keep us updated on its progress.
