Black Looks Slams RE5 For Racism

Kym Platt at Black Looks, a blog devoted to exploring African cultural issues, has voiced her concerns over Capcom’s Resident Evil 5.
This is problematic on so many levels, including the depiction of Black people as inhuman savages, the killing of Black people by a white man in military clothing, and the fact that this video game is marketed to children and young adults. Start them young… fearing, hating, and destroying Black people.
Is it really problematic? Yes, the trailer did show Chris facing off against a bunch of black zombies, but the entire game will most definitely include a variety of enemies, not limited to only these zombies. Secondly… you don’t have to worry about children, the game will be M-rated, intended for adults only.

As a black person I don't really look at it that way :/ and the game doesn't look like its in africa , looks more like hades to me and I also don't think anyone black I know will not like this game becuase of the skin colour of some enemies and its true , the game isnt just going to have black zombies .. its going to have other enemies to blow thier heads off.. but they do have a point that kids will get a hold off this game no matter what like they did with man hunt , resident evil , gta series and other games
